SA Tech Startups to Entrepreneurs Inhabit The Andy and Begin Growth of a Unique Business Community on the Eastside
On Wednesday, April 19th, 2023, at 11 a.m., developers Rich Gottbrath and Johnny Devora celebrated the grand opening of The Andy, a unique work/live warehouse space in San Antonio. The San Antonio Chamber of Commerce hosted the ribbon-cutting ceremony, which featured a proclamation from the City, acknowledging the efforts of the developers in bringing this innovative project to life.
The historic event was well-attended, with various tenants of The Andy coming out to show their support, alongside numerous members from the San Antonio Chamber of Commerce. This remarkable restoration demonstrates the importance of adaptive reuse and the potential for economic growth through the revitalization of underutilized spaces.
Before the ribbon cutting, Rich Gottbrath shared a few inspiring words around what this project meant to him and the community before Johnny Devora introduced the tenants and invited them to share something about themselves and their business.
“We host demo days once a month to celebrate our wins. Join us, and if we can help celebrate your wins, we are more than happy to do so. We are happy to be here,” exclaimed Gurk Gulati, Cofounder and Technologist at Prompt Video in Suite 214.
